Vira began her nail career in 2016 in Drohobych, Ukraine. She has completed more than 17 advanced qualifications in podology, hygiene, nail anatomy and the chemistry of materials, qualified as a manicure instructor, and rose through the six-level national master system of the Beauty Salon Standards Committee from Level 6 in 2018 to Level 2 "National Expert" in 2025.
In 2023 she moved her practice to Los Angeles and founded Beauty Vibes LA. Today she works with a loyal clientele in Woodland Hills, teaches her DCMT method, judges international championships, educates for Gel Point at U.S. expos and exhibits her nail art as fine art.
Dermacare Cuticle-Safe Manicure Technique is a standardized approach to combined manicure that puts control of the tissue ahead of the depth of mechanical work.
DCMT is recognized, recommended and disseminated by two professional associations: the International Beauty Industry Association, which published the full methodology in its International Expert Publications series, and the American Nail Artist Association in the United States, which shares it through its education hub.
Classic manicure blurs the boundary between living and nonliving tissue. E-file work alone can overheat and irritate thin skin. Combined manicure can carry the risks of both. DCMT keeps professional tools and changes the conditions in which they are used.
Dermatologists advise against cutting or forcefully pushing back cuticles, because the cuticle seals the nail fold and a break lets bacteria in.

Cuts to the skin during manicures most often lead to paronychia, a bacterial infection around the nail.

In a 2017 audit of 4,931 patients at 13 UK and Irish dermatology units, 2.4% were allergic to at least one (meth)acrylate, the chemistry behind gel and acrylic nails.
